Major drilling activities carried out

Drilling Service Center has so far drilled more than 80,000 meters for different exploration projects under taken by the technical departments with in the Geological institute of Ethiopia for coring mineral exploration, for geo-technical ( Dam and foundation and irrigation ). The drilling service was rendered for governmental and non-governmental organizations including private companies. For Gold exploration more than 200 boreholes with a cumulative depth of not less than 25,000 meters were drilled. Some of the projects were Legadanbi Gold project,Dul Gold Exploration owned by Gold Star company, Tulu-kapi owned by Gold Prospect Mining Company, Dugi-Manbuk funded by Ethio-Norway and UNDP projects.
