Data availability at The National Geoscience Data Center includes both published and unpublished materials such as reports, field notes, and observation data from studies by GIE and other institutes along with various books collected since 1968.

NATIONAL GEOCHEMICAL MAPPING PROJECT (ETHIO-CHINESE COOPRATION PROJECT)
To generate a multi-purpose geochemical data on 69 chemical elements and produce the Geochemical Atlas of the country.
The project started in September 2016 and continued until September 2019,
after which it was terminated due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Totally 48.8% of the country’s territory was mapped.
